Goal
We are going to do the depreciation of common-templates in CNV future. We need to change cnv-tests to create VM using common instanceType and common VM preference instead of common templates as preparation for common-templates deprecation.
This Epic is about validating core tests (windows/rhel) are also tested using instance types
User Stories
- As a tester, I want tests to create a VM using instance types instead of templates in cnv-tests.
Non-Requirements
- Tests to validate common-instanceType and common-preference are not included in this Epic.
Notes
- The code changes are being held until we give our final resolution about deprecating common templates, instead we will add tests to check VM to VMI fields transition.
