Goal
When common templates will be deprecated (cnv-4.15), we will have to update our tekton tasks so they can work with virtual machine instances.
Deprecate copy-template, modify-template, create-vm-from-template tasks. With this change we will have only one version of pipelines for both okd/kubernetes platforms. It will help to decrease maintenance effort.
User Stories
- As an admin I would like to make sure our tekton tasks are working with instance type
- As an user, I would like to use virtctl in modify-vm task to create vm
- As an admin, I would like to know that template based tasks will be deprecated and removed in future releases
