If you configure the ScanSettings to disable result storage, then use those settings with a platform scan, the scan will hang and timeout.

This is only present when attempting to use platform scans without storage, as the node scanning logic conditionally sets the volume referencing the TLS certificates.

This was due to a gap in end-to-end testing where the tests only exercised node scans for the feature.

Disabling storage for scans was a feature of the 1.8.0 release, and affects only 1.8.0+ operator deployments.
