EAP metrics are shown on Metrics dashboard but not in linked Prometheus UI in OCP web console

      1. Enable monitoring for user-define projects https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/4.6/monitoring/enabling-monitoring-for-user-defined-projects.html
      2. Install EAP operator which provides ServiceMonitor resource (EAP7-1579)
      3. Log into OCP web console as Administrator and choose Administrator scope
      4. Navigate to Monitoring -> Metrics in left menu
      5. Verify, that jboss_.* queries can be run here
      6. Click on "Prometheus UI" next to "Metrics" header
      7. Check that no jboss_.* queries can be run here

      The Prometheus instance linked to "Prometheus UI" link is not able to query metrics from EAP. If this intentional, the integration and user experience is flawed because users can be confused since the link is not labeled properly.

      This is a bug in integration of Prometheus, OpenShift and EAP.
