Currently, if the source project has a data dir, it is only copied if a pom.xml file exists. This directory should be copied regardless of whether or not the source project contains a pom.xml file.

Additionally, all the copies in the assemble script should include the -r option. Currently, only files can be copied, not directories and their content.
