We got Zabbix alert about disk space usage on the backend disk used to store all debuginfo packages for CentOS Stream.
As it started with Stream 8 , and then continued with Stream 9 and 10, for all architectures , and all pushed/released builds, that's becoming a very large disk.
It seems we can get rid of all .el8. debuginfo packages, as Stream 8 was EOL'ed last year (2024) but based on logs, it seems there are quite a few requests for these packages.
Creating ticket here to not forget about it and start a thread on devel list for awareness/request for comments, and then take action based on consensus
