ClairCore's vulnerability database is completely denormalized. So, there are potentially MANY copies of a vulnerability's description. This can add up to a lot. In ACS Scanner v2, we did this, and it saved us a few GBs (I cannot recall the exact amount). When running ClairCore on-prem, saving this storage is meaningful, and would be very much appreciated by customers.
