Right now the clair-indexer DB in RDS that serves quay.io is growing out of bounds. That means we're continually going to be adding storage as newer manifests/layers are uploaded.

Currently Clair has two deletion endpoints for deleting one or multiple manifests, these could be employed by the Quay garbage collection to also delete unneeded manifests from the clair-indexer DB. Adding this issue to track discussions about the difficulty in doing that.
