https://support.novell.com/security/oval/ no longer produces gzip compressed OVAL feeds. Similarly, it seems to only have older versions of openSUSE Leap (15.0 and 15.1, while the current version is 15.6).

I found https://www.suse.com/support/security/oval/ which pointed me to https://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/security/oval/, which I believe we should use for SUSE OVAL files. It has all the releases we currently care about, and there are gzip options, too.

We should start using this data, instead.
