To get away from copy/paste in web forms, etc, RCM would require either an RPC or RESTful interface to download manager.

We'd need to be able to :

• list product versions
• add product versions
• read product version information
• edit product versions to set licensing or other fields

• list files in a product version
• add files to a product version
• edit existing files on their product versions to change the various fields
• remove files from a product version

This will enable us to integrate the actual act of CDN uploading with creating the data in the download manager tooling. It may also allow us to move to integrate it with our broader push tooling, such as pub.
