Also fix the invalid values from old versions of Fedora to new Meaning.
1) how to convert GNOME/3?
2) I will transfer "27/3 gnome-boxes/3.26.2" to "fedora/27 gnome-boxes/3.26.2” - is that correct?
3) I will change “Fedora” to “fedora” - this seems like a logical thing.
Hey David,
Thanks for the statistics.
Now I understand where the "Fedora" with a capital "F" came from. It
is just one download and the gnome-boxes version is
"3.27.2.3-10bb9-dirty", so it was the very first test run that I did
to try out the user agent. Since then, all the official Fedora builds
use a "fedora" with a small "f".I don't have a strong opinion about the capitalization of the "f".
I used "fedora" because it looked similar to the "%Unknown macro: {fedora}" RPM
macro.Yes, it is OK to interpret "27/3 gnome-boxes/3.26.2" as "fedora/27
gnome-boxes/3.26.2”. It was a bug in the Fedora 27 RPM spec file, so
it makes sense.The "GNOME/3 gnome-boxes/3.25.3" and "GNOME/3 gnome-boxes/3.27.90"
tags are developer builds from unstable gnome-boxes tarballs. One good
way to detect them is to check if the second field of the gnome-boxes
version is an odd number or if the "dirty" sub-string is present.I wonder what will happen in the future if non-Fedora distributions
start shipping this feature. I hope they will properly identify
themselves in the user-agent.Regards,
Rishi
