Before we release our first version, we should ensure our performance goals still holds. From the design doc:
“Fast” means around 10ms per file, that should yield to about a minute of runtime for a 2.5GB must-gather of a six node OpenShift cluster.
We should benchmark and profile whether this still holds and the runtime for such a must-gather of size 2.5GB is good enough. The design doc mentioned the option of obfuscating concurrently.
AC:
- Check whether the performance is acceptable, if not create new backlog items to improve the performance.
