We currently use primarily bash scripts all over calunga code. While this is fine for the short term, it would really be better to use python scripts instead.

      What images/containers/etc need python installed?
What are the additional packages that said images need to execute python scripts?
List some improvements that could be made - for example: better error handling in pulp-upload.
Where does it make sense to keep using bash (maybe inside some tasks or pipelines)?
