[DDF] Is this the exactly version we should be using to create an extension image ?

Is this the exactly version we should be using to create an extension image ?
In my opinion we should explicit explain you must use this version not the latest.
Currently according with the engineering team, they are using version 3.2.0. I have tried using the latest and failed.
