AUTOSCALE - Sprint 284
Over in AUTOSCALE-373 we added tag propagation, but there was one thing we couldn't do, because of how "structural" it was upstream:
- If possible, can we remove the 'eks:eks-cluster-name' tag when running in a Red Hat context
We might be able to convince them to make it a configurable option.
I told Alberto I'd write an upstream issue for that and we can try to get that through upstream. Once I do that I will link that here.
Acceptance Criteria:
- eks:eks-cluster-name can be configured to something else like rosa:rosa-cluster-name
- old clusters that are using the old tag can upgrade into the new way
- split from
-
AUTOSCALE-373 AutoNode should correctly tag all EC2 instances when running in an AWS Managed Service environment
