The Beta1 CLI supports multi-step operations via the low level :composite(steps=

operation. Look for ways to make this more friendly; e.g. a command to start a batch, followed by commands for each "step" and then a command to execute the batch. (That's just an example to illustrate what I mean; there may be better approaches.)
