      Story (Required)

As an OpenShift user, I would like to use the aws open-search service to collect and visualizing SBO performance metrics.

      Background (Required)

We have evaluated the segment and woopra/amplitude for SBO performance metrics as part of story https://issues.redhat.com/browse/APPSVC-1215 . Found out that our use case is not supported by these tools. Our use case of visualization is better supported by open-search service.

      In Scope

      • Sample data collection and visualization to see the KPI graphs
      • Set up infrastructure for visualization

        Approach(Required)

We can use AWS managed service open search https://aws.amazon.com/opensearch-service/

And write a importer tool for using open-search API to send/collect the data

Create a graph to see the average memory consumption as below:

      Demo requirements(Required)

End-to-end workflow demo, starting with KPIs, ending with opensearch visualization.
