      Problem

What are the services, available to me, that I can leverage as a developer?

If as a developer, I want to express the need for a specific service, could I require the "deployment environment" to provision the corresponding service?

      As an example:

      • As a developer, I'd like to be able to chose a database from one that is already available in my environment.
      • As a developer, I'd like to be able to use a specific database while I'm developing, but then when deploying onto a targeted environment, I want the environment to do the provisioning and mapping of the service with my application.
