Requests to LDAP secured api will get stuck when invalid password is provided

Requests to LDAP secured url will get stuck when invalid password is provided.

Initially we suspected that the issue might be somehow related to organisation description (as it looked like when the description was left empty the issue was not present). That seemed quite unlikely though, so we tried some more and managed to reproduce this regardless the organisation config. Thus this is most likely some async issue.
