When editing an entity with a description, if that entity does not already have a description then the first time the user edits it, the change doesn't get applied.

Steps to reproduce:

1) Create a new Organization with no description set
2) Hover over the "<no description>" for the resulting new Org, and click to edit
3) Change the vale to something else
4) Click the checkbox to save the edit
5) Reload the page - note that the description is still empty
