Add a check gateway url button on the gateway page

      When configuring the gateway it'd be nice to have a check button that hits the status page. I'm currently getting a 

      Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: org.apache.http.NoHttpResponseException: localhost:8999 failed to respond

      and I have to hook up the debugger to figure out what it is not hitting my gateway endpoint.
