Abu wrote https://github.com/tkashem/rebase when delivering k8s v1.24, we need to:

1. ensure the git log includes all the necessary commits
   1. either --merge and --no-merges separately or with all merges and filter out merge commits
2. ensure this is working per our desire
   1. interactive questions for drop commits
   2. check if UPSTREAM commits exists
3. transfer this under openshift github org
