Feature Overview:
New and junior engineers often face challenges during onboarding due to disorganized, outdated, or incomplete documentation. The current AIPCC onboarding materials rely heavily on individual updates from onboarding members, leading to inconsistency and missing information. This effort aims to centralize, standardize, and modernize the onboarding experience to ensure clarity, consistency, and long-term maintainability.

Goals:

• Create a comprehensive, well-structured onboarding document that can be used across all AIPCC teams.

• Establish a single source of truth for new hires to understand AIPCC’s mission, team structure, workflows, and operating procedures.

• Reduce onboarding friction and dependency on ad hoc knowledge transfer.

• Promote consistent knowledge sharing and alignment across teams.

Requirements / Acceptance Criteria:

• Each AIPCC team has reviewed and updated their section within the onboarding documentation for accuracy and completeness.

• The onboarding document includes up-to-date team descriptions, workflows, and collaboration tools.

• All links, references, and resources are verified and functional.

• The structure and tone are consistent, clear, and accessible for new hires.

• The final document is recognized as the single source of truth for onboarding within AIPCC.
