Goal{}
Ensure that OpenShift and OpenShift AI are installed on the shared evaluation cluster and that GPUaaS-related capabilities are ready for evaluation.
Description{}
This story covers the installation of OpenShift AI on the shared evaluation cluster and includes installing OpenShift itself if it is not already present.
It is not assumed that the shared evaluation environment is already running OpenShift.
If OpenShift is missing, it must be installed as a prerequisite before OpenShift AI can be deployed.
The validation in this story is limited to installation and sanity checks only.
It does not include full GPUaaS behavior testing.
Work includes:
- Verifying whether OpenShift is already installed on the target cluster
- Installing OpenShift if required
- Installing OpenShift AI using supported methods
- Ensuring all required operators and components are installed and healthy
- Verifying GPU visibility and basic GPU-backed workload execution
Out of scope{}
- Evaluating GPUaaS behavior (quotas, priorities, preemption)
- Comparing OpenShift AI to other technologies
- Running stress or contention tests
DoD{}
- OpenShift is installed on the shared evaluation cluster or confirmed as already present
- OpenShift AI is successfully installed
- All OpenShift and OpenShift AI components are healthy
- A basic GPU-backed workload runs successfully
- No blockers exist for GPUaaS behavior evaluation
- The environment is declared ready for GPUaaS testing in follow-up stories
