As pointed out by https://issues.redhat.com/browse/AGENT-446, currently some of the operations performed by the assisted-installer controller are performed after the node reboot, assuming that the assisted service is still available. This includes the plugins customization.
This spike it about investigating possible alternative solutions to address such issue, since in the ABI context the AS is not always available (in particular for the SNO case)
