As already mentioned in that ticket: https://issues.redhat.com/browse/AG-274
PriorityScheduledExecutor is running with a SINGLE thread, which means it creates new connections sequentially. Even though there are multiple http-thread which needs immediately a new connection. This takes some time, which is not nice.
In case of TiDB, once a component fails, a new connection can be established immediately.
But the connection pool needs its time, to sequentially exchange all broken connections with a fresh and valid connection.
Wondering if and how we could speed up connection creation? So that http-requests are not taking longer than necessary ?
