New Project popup: Description is not mandatory

The popup shown when creating a new project has a red asterisk next to the "Description" field that is normally used to indicate it is mandatory. However when creating a new project the field can be left empty and the project created without problem.

Either the field should be mandatory (and validation added) or optional (and the asterisk removed). My preference is to keep it as optional and remove the asterisk.
