Either enable spaces in project names or disallow import of projects with spaces in the project name

BC allows import of projects with spaces in the name but if you change for example the version of the project and click save, it will fail with this message "A project's name can only contain letters (A to Z), digits (0 to 9), underscores (_), dots (.) or dashes ."
