To be honest, I'm not sure if AEROGEAR jira is the right one

That said, if you go to https://aerogear.org/getstarted/downloads/#unifiedpush, download button shows 1.1.0-alpha.2 but it actually goes to latest, that is 1.1.0-beta.4 at this moment.
