      Feature Overview

      • MCE is the starting point with Hosted Control Planes (HCP)
      • as such, we see a growing proliferation of Hosted Clusters (HC) within the MCE
      • Over time, we need to serve customers/users by
        • making it painless to grow these MCE’s into ACM hubs for the purposes of providing advanced management
        • making it possible to manage HC within these MCEs from a central ACM hub while leaving MCE as is

      Goals

      • Achieve seamless HC management across multiple MCEs from a single ACM

      NON-Goals

      • Do NOT make it possible to do advanced management of HCs within MCE
      • Movement of the HCP out of the MCE and into the ACM (this could be another feature, later)
