Value Statement

By adding the ClusterManagementAddon YAML into the bundle manifest, the MultiClusterHub (MCH) operator is able to establish a synchronization point with Submariner to ensure that resources are being properly cleaned up during the uninstallation process.

MCH will deploy the "submariner" ClusterManagementAddon for Search and remove the resource when the component is configured to be disabled or when ACM is being uninstalled on the cluster.

Definition of Done for Engineering Story Owner (Checklist)

• [x] The "submariner" ClusterManagementAddon has been successfully integrated into the olm-catalog manifest for the MultiClusterHub (MCH) operator to pick up.
• [x] Finalizer has been added to the ClusterManagementAddon to facilitate proper cleanup of resources (optional - if Submariner requires cleaning up resources from their end before the component is uninstalled).

• The code is complete.
