Feature Overview

Presently when using the search bar on the ACM UI the results are returned as "best match" which can result in a large number of resources returned that are undesired or irrelevant to the search in question. We would like to have the ability to return a filtered search based on the text used in the query to improve visibility and readability.

For example presently if I have a series of clusters named cluster-prod-1 through cluster-prod-50 and type in cluster-prod-51 the search result returns a number of the cluster-prod-x clusters rather than showing no result. If I type in cluster-prod-27 I will get cluster-prod-27 as my first result but also a number of the other cluster-prod-x under it when the desired result would be the singular exact match.
