Description of problem:
Additional networking requirements for infrastructure operator table says, Hub cluster outbound to BMC interface at single node OpenShift Container Platform managed cluster uses HTTPS (HTTP in disconnected environment), but does that mean HTTP in the disconnected mode should be required or does it imply HTTPS/HTTP depends on the BMC interface?
Assuming the outbound depends on the BMC interface, for instance, IPMI doesn’t provide encryption or to disable TLS in Redfish protocol shown in the BMC addressing section, so HTTP is required in this case, but I wonder how HTTP is related to connected/disconnected mode when it comes to hub cluster to the BMC interface connectivity.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.7
How reproducible:
Always since it might be a doc issue.
Steps to Reproduce:
- ...
Actual results:
The statement in the doc may be incorrect or miss some parts.
Expected results:
The HTTP in the disconnected environment part should be elaborated and needs to explain why HTTP is required in the disconnected environment from the hub cluster to the BMC interface on the managed cluster while HTTPS via the Internet.
