Epic Goal
Determine what changes beyond translation are needed for a good experience when using the UI in other locales.
- Determine which applicable data types are displayed in the console like dates and types, numeric values, currencies, etc.
- Investigate what efforts (if any) have been made to localize OpenShift console
- Determine if user preferences for localization can be detected and respected
Why is this important?
Information should be displayed in a format that is conventional for the users locale. We have some instances where English is still used in relative dates/times. This exercise will also be beneficial to ensure we display data types consistently across the console even in English.
