Summary

This task captures the work necessary to generate a Tekton task to validate that all components in the pipeline/backplane-pipeline manifest files have a valid, merged prow configuration for a given target release. This Tekton task is intended to gate future steps in the automated release cut over process that would rely on an updated prow configuration.

Output

A Tekton task that, when armed with the correct access credentials, will take as input a target source release and a manifest of components and validate that all components have a valid prow configuration for the target source release. This task should alert on and enumerate any repositories or components that do not have a valid, merged prow configuration for the target source release.

This task should be formatted in such a way that it can be used as a gating and informing function as part of a Pipeline to cut over to a new release stream automatically.
