Part of some confusion the customer experienced in a case was thinking that deleting the PVC would result in data loss. The reality is that the Search Postgres instance acts as a cache and does not store historical information. The only consequence of deleting and recreating a PVC would be a delay in rebuilding what is in essence a cache.
