Description of problem:
The managedserviceaccount component is enabled by default in the MCE and creates an addontemplate called "managed-serviceaccount-x.y". When performing an upgrade of MCE, these addontemplates stay and after a few upgrades, you have something like the below in which you have multiple addontemplates.
$ oc get addontemplate NAME ADDON NAME gitops-addon gitops-addon managed-serviceaccount-2.10 managed-serviceaccount managed-serviceaccount-2.11 managed-serviceaccount managed-serviceaccount-2.9 managed-serviceaccount
The problem is that when you turn off managedserviceaccount, it only deletes the most recent template. For example, disabling managedserviceaccount still leaves the below.
$ oc get addontemplate NAME ADDON NAME gitops-addon gitops-addon managed-serviceaccount-2.10 managed-serviceaccount managed-serviceaccount-2.9 managed-serviceaccount
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

"mce_image": "quay.io:443/acm-d/mce-dev-catalog:2.11.0-DOWNSTREAM-2026-02-10-23-56-12",
How reproducible:
Always
Steps to Reproduce:
- Install MCE 2.10
- Upgrade to MCE 2.11
- Turn off managedserviceaccount
Actual results:
The old addontemplates remain
Expected results:
All addontemplates should be deleted, ideally after the upgrade is done.
