Description
We need to gather and consolidate customer feedback regarding how network mappings and storage mappings are created or handled after live migration, as there are concerns that this behavior may be excessive or unexpected.

This issue will focus on collecting opinions, use cases, and pain points from customers and internal stakeholders, including (but not limited to):

• Martin Tessun
• Robert Bohne
• Sam Lucidi
• Peter Lauterbach
• Christian Stark
• Additional customers and field teams as applicable

Goal

• Understand whether the current behavior aligns with customer expectations
• Identify cases where automatic creation of network/storage mappings after live migration causes confusion, conflicts, or operational overhead

Impact / Follow-up
The survey and feedback results will be used as key input for:

• A new or updated Design Document (DD)
• Improvements or new features related to Virtual Machine Migration placement
• Potential changes to default behavior or configurability around mapping creation

Acceptance Criteria

• Customer feedback is documented and summarized
• Common themes, concerns, and requested improvements are identified
• Clear recommendations are produced for DD updates and future enhancements
