For Konflux, we haven't received sufficient contributions from the upstream community to justify the additional overhead working in the upstream OCM-io ALC repos and propagating the changes to the midstream stolostron ALC repos. The ALC AppSub model is also being depreciated.

As part of the Konflux work, we should decouple ALC stolostron midstream repos from upstream dependencies. This effort will involve the following:

• Update upstream doc to remove references to legacy models and decoupled repos
• Disable magic-mirror tooling for those repos
• Prepare and deliver a community presentation announcing the changes and outlining the alternative Argo CD solution.
