Description of problem:
Issue in self-managed platform
Agent - Bare Metal
In the UI, under distribution version there is no "Upgrade available" link. If I access the upgrade menu from the three dots menu, it says there are no available upgrades.
The HCP is using OCP 4.18.4-multi release, and there should be upgrades to 4.18.7 and 4.18.8.
The management cluster is running 4.18.4-x86 release.
I also tried to set hostedcluster.spec.channel to 'stable-4.18', but still no luck.
I could start the upgrade by patching the hostedcluster.spec.release directly.
There are clusterimagesets available for the named releases:
$oc get clusterimageset | grep 4.18.[7-8] img4.18.7-multi-appsub quay.io/openshift-release-dev/ocp-release:4.18.7-multi img4.18.7-x86-64-appsub quay.io/openshift-release-dev/ocp-release:4.18.7-x86_64 img4.18.8-multi-appsub quay.io/openshift-release-dev/ocp-release:4.18.8-multi img4.18.8-x86-64-appsub quay.io/openshift-release-dev/ocp-release:4.18.8-x86_64
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
MCE 2.8
OCP 4.18
How reproducible:
Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Deploy a HostedCluster with agent provider
2. Access the MCE UI and check for available upgrades (there won't be a link to upgrade cluster)
Actual results:
No upgrade link available.
Expected results:
Upgrade link available.
