Epic Goal
There are a some open features for template functions that we may be able to easily implement: https://issues.redhat.com/browse/ACM-17410 and https://issues.redhat.com/browse/ACM-16761 . In addition, there may be new sprig functions that should be added to the allowlist, which we should evaluate (https://issues.redhat.com/browse/ACM-19582 but note that we should ensure all new functions aren't a security concern, like exposing environment variables or something).
Why is this important?
Templating inside our policies is a major feature. More functions are generally useful, and it would be frustrating for users to think a function is available, and then be disappointed with an error.
