      Epic Goal

The goal is to produce and deliver FIPS compliant "hcp" CLI binaries via the console download as well as Content Gateway.

      Why is this important?

Some users including IBM z use the "hcp" CLI in FIPS enabled environment such as a bastion machine. Current workaround is to extract the /usr/bin/hypershift FIPS compliant binary from the hypershift operator and use that instead of the downloadable "hcp" CLI.
