Value Statement

As the value and security of distributed machine learning models increases and customers ask more about it; the RHACM product management team is working to understand how a multicluster system can facilitate this more easily. 

The focus of this spike is NOT engineering; we are not looking to prove how to do this, but to understand the market conditions that generate the need and how a true multicluster tool can lead the way to enable it.

Definition of Done for PM Story Owner (Checklist)

• A solid, high level understanding of Federated Learning and the market needs for it.
• A collaboration with ACM Arch on this.
• An understanding (and communication channel) of how the Red Hat AI BU is addressing this.
• An understanding (and communication channel) of how the Red Hat OCTO is addressing this.
• A document illustrating the business case for utilising ACM/OCM for Federated Learning
• An understanding of where OCP AI fits into this.
• A working group and/or document that AI BU, OCTO, and ACM can work from and agree to align and collaborate on
