Value Statement

Users want to lookup information on resources in the hub in their ConfigruationPolicy without using the distribution framework (Policy) on the hub.

Definition of Done for Engineering Story Owner (Checklist)

• The config-policy-controller can use a newly configured hub kubeconfig when the addon is enabled in order to use hub templates.
• When the addon is not enabled and hub templates are detected, a special NonCompliant message will be set in the ConfigurationPolicy.
• In order to help provide continuity when the connection to the hub cluster is down, the config-policy-controller will save the result of resolving the hub templates in a secret named `<uid>-last-resolved` in the managed cluster namespace.

• The code is complete.
• Functionality is working.
• Any required downstream Docker file changes are made.
