Value Statement

Enable persistent data backup for applications running on the hub. At the moment only CR content is backed up with the hub backup so if a persistent application is running on the hub, that data is not automatically backed up with the hub data. If the data is restored on a new hub, the application resources would be restored but the persistent data is lost.

This story is opened to investigate the best options to support app data backup when the app is running on the hub.

Definition of Done for Engineering Story Owner (Checklist)

• The user can configure the hub backup to support backing up PVC data for specific PVCs. 
• When the hub backup data is restored on a new hub, the PVC data can be restored with the hub backup.
