      Description of problem:

      The endpoint operator generates the list of metrics that the metrics collector must collect and appends it to the metrics-collector command in the deployment object. However, this list is not sorted, leading to unnecessary updates as the list can differ on each reconcile. It ends up overloading the cluster ETCD as described here:
