- https://github.com/open-cluster-management/backlog/issues/16319 policy generator support is currently in progress.
- We’ll need to do something to convert PlacementRule to Placement at some point in the future when PlacementRule is deprecated (for our community and customers with existing policies). I’m not sure we’ve picked a definite direction here. We could just have a script to help people move over or we could do an API webhook that converts one to the other.

- Deprecation of the PlacementRule API
- UI must support both APIs until PlacementRule is formally removed
