In order to ensure the optimized dashboard performs as expected, we need a long running system with significant data.

The long running system should ideally have data equal or close to the default metric retention period (is that feasible ).

To simulate metrics from clusters the metrics collection simulator can be used: https://github.com/stolostron/multicluster-observability-operator/tree/main/tools/simulator/metrics-collector

Acceptance criteria:

• Long running test system setup
• Should have (simulated?) data from x managed clusters.
