      Value Statement

      Customers have found a lot of value in our templating in configuration policies.  We should add templating support to operator policies as well.  An example might be to set different operator versions based on the underlying OCP version.

      Definition of Done for Engineering Story Owner (Checklist)

      • Hub and managed cluster templating should work similar to templating with configuration policies
      • A documentation task would be expected to clarify templating support for operator policies

      • Any required downstream Docker file changes are made.
