The `vmware.vmware_rest.vcenter_vm_guest_customization` module is one of the more popular modules in the vmware_rest collection. It has terrible input validation (see ACA-1496) and can be confusing for people. We should migrate it to vmware.vmware where we can add some more helpful errors/validation and maybe make it more user friendly
